Dololly is Granny's nickname that goes back to the 1950's when Granny and her husband, Missy's Dad, had an upholstery business. And that nickname stuck. She has moved on from upholstery to several different jobs that all had to do with sewing. Now she and Missy are making handmade quilts from scratch. Granny designs and stitches together the quilt top. Missy does the quilting adding the batting and the quilt back. Then Granny takes back over and adds the binding to the border, the finishing touch.
Missy and her Mother have been working together since 1985.
